Art Historian, Actor, and Writer
Emma Jones
Zoé is based between Paris and London. She holds a BA in art history from the Courtauld Institute of Art and an MFA in professional acting and production from Drama Studio London. Whilst her undergraduate studies focused on the role of costume in contemporary film, culture and collective imagination, she has evolved towards the consideration of both costume and contemporary art consumption as performative actions.
Her interests span performance and performing arts, photography and film, women-created contemporary art and the evolution of Feminist discourses within art history.
She uses her range of varied experiences and skills to offer insight into the work of modern and contemporary art galleries and to shed light on the possibility of democratizing the act of collecting. Zoe is also a theatre critic, dramaturg and theatre-maker.
