Art Advisor

Hailey Widrig

Hailey Widrig has been immersed in the art market for over a decade, developing in-depth expertise in art history and the market, with a focus on Post-War, Contemporary Art, and Photography. At Art Partners Advisory, she provides curatorial advice to collectors, corporations, and institutions to build and maintain museum-quality art collections.

During this time, Hailey has analysed thousands of artworks from galleries, artists, and auction houses. She has been responsible for acquiring artworks and archives with a cumulative value in the mid-eight figures. This extensive experience and vast volume of market data provide crucial quantitative knowledge in a traditionally opaque market.

Her services include independent appraisal reports that conform to the professional guidelines of the American Internal Revenue Service and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. These reports cover insurance, damage and loss, estate tax and planning, market strategy, and collateral loans. She also offers market advice and strategic planning for private and corporate collectors, artist estates, museums, and foundations.

Notable public clients and businesses she has worked with include the Marrakech Museum of Photography and Visual Art, the Zeitz Museum, Christian Liaigre, David Chipperfield Architects, and Jacques Grange. Additionally, Hailey advised Christian Liaigre on building his personal art collection and commercial gallery business. Another prominent client is Ely-Michel Ruimy, a collector based in London.

Based in Paris, France, Hailey is a member of the Association of Professional Art Advisors and the Appraisers Association of America.
